Nature of Work as Scientist
Worked on various aspects of groundwater such as groundwater management, rain water harvesting designs, artificial recharge designs, conjunctive use of surface and groundwater, mathematical modelling, water pollution, groundwater resources assessment, groundwater exploration, test pumping, systematic surveys, groundwater monitoring etc.
Nature of Work as Consultant
Worked for more than 100 projects of industries, infrastructure, mining and river rejuvenation. The projects involved assessment of optimal water requirement of the industry/infrastructure, waste management, utilization of treated water, management of rain water through rain water harvesting and artificial recharge. Prepared designs of artificial recharge structures according to site specifications by considering the aquifer characteristics, water level trends, physiography, water receptivity of the geological formation and water quality compatibility.

Reports and Publications
More than 100 reports of Central Ground Water Board, three reports of National Institute of Hydrology, Seventy reports as a consultant for Private organizations.
He has Twenty-five papers published in national and international journals, seminar/symposia. Organized twenty training and mass awareness programs in Central Ground Water Board as Head of the Office at Dehradun. Delivered lecture in all the programs and Organized three seminars on groundwater related aspects.
